Housing

Students are free to make their own housing arrangements in Nice. Thomas Jefferson School of Law has arranged for discounted student housing at four residence facilities in Nice. Each of these locations offers basic but comfortable accommodations, including a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, linens and towels (changed weekly), satellite TV, central air conditioning, and telephones. Laundry facilities are available in the buildings and in nearby laundromats; fax service is available at the reception desks. Rooms at the three residences vary in size, and some may not be as large as American hotel rooms.

Additional information about housing arrangements in Nice, including detailed instructions for making reservations and payment, and for help with finding roommates, will be made available to students who have registered for the program. Each residence has a very limited number of rooms available, so students are advised to make housing arrangements early. Students who elect to stay in program-organized housing will check in on Saturday, June 21 and check out on Saturday morning, July 19. The discounted rates indicated below are only available for the duration of the program.

Cost of housing for 28 days:
The cost, based on a 28-day occupancy from June 21 to July 19 for apartments at Citadines Buffa, Citadines Promenade, Citea or Excellior will vary, depending on the number of roommates and type of room selected. Basic room rates, including tax (.70 Euros per day per person), are indicated below. Charges such as telephone, laundry, etc. are additional. Note that the number of rooms in each category is limited; we will do our best to accommodate each student's housing preference, but ask that students be flexible, as we cannot guarantee that a particular location or room choice will be available. Housing is on a first-come, first-served basis. Housing on the French Riviera during high season is expensive and difficult to find if you wait until the last minute. If you desire the least expensive housing, you need to contact Christina Becker at Thomas Jefferson School of Law at cbecker@tjsl.edu by April 15, 2008.
