HousingStudents are free to make their own housing arrangements in Nice. Thomas Jefferson School of Law has arranged for discounted student housing at four residence facilities in Nice. Each of these locations offers basic but comfortable accommodations, including a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, linens and towels (changed weekly), satellite TV, central air conditioning, and telephones. Laundry facilities are available in the buildings and in nearby laundromats; fax service is available at the reception desks. Rooms at the four residences vary in size, and some may not be as large as American hotel rooms. Additional information about housing arrangements in Nice, including detailed instructions for making reservations and payment, and for help with finding roommates, will be made available to students who have registered for the program. Each residence has a very limited number of rooms available, so students are advised to make housing arrangements early through Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Students who elect to stay in program-organized housing will check in on Saturday, June 26 and check out on Saturday morning, July 24. The discounted rates indicated below are only available for the duration of the program. CITEA offers three options: a studio apartment with one queen-size bed for one person or for a couple; or a studio for two with two twin beds; or a one-bedroom apartment for three people. The one-bedroom apartments have two separate rooms, one being a bedroom with two twin beds or a double bed, and the other a living room with a pull-out sofa-bed. CITEA is located just one block from the beach, approximately 5 minutes from the Law School, and it has a swimming pool. Space is limited.
